I had planned what I thought would be an entertaining and fun way to review Chapters 1-3 of "Night" by Elie Wiesel. We had been reading and were then interrupted by exams, the strike, etc. So, I thought that adopting an active story-telling style would be good. The students were organized in groups. One of them would be Elie, another his wife and the others grandchildren. The grandchildren would prompt the story by asking their grandpa about his life during the Holocaust. The wife would complement. The objective was to reproduce the best story of what we had read.
Well, that's how we started off... Now check out how it evolved. The protagonists will explain! :)

ReplyDeleteit was great just ti¡o see how we reviewed the Night 3 first chapters but at the same time we where at "World War 2" throwing airplanes all over the place! JUST GREAT!
ReplyDeleteit was cool to se how we make the 3 chapters fly and how we learn more from them traspasing our ideas trough the air.
ReplyDeleteit help us to could amplify our knowledge but in a funny way, working on the airplanes, creating an interaction with the hole class group.
ReplyDeleteMiss, all your new ideas are excellent, I had enjoyed all of them, and at the time I had learn. This new ideas have give me a different way of thinking. The way we remember what we had read in night was very cool, everybody was giving information, and in this way we, all, complement each other. In the activity we did today, of burning our negative feelings, make me feel more happy and with hope of good ideas and activities in the feature.
ReplyDeleteBeing honest this activity is fun, as you say is a nice a fun way to practice the chapters riding. In a part of the exercise something happen and I don´t understand what happen but an airplane hit my. And that airplane has information, that really fun, I like the activity.
